Small jobs for which hiring a tradesman for the whole day makes no sense: hang a shelf, change a tap, adjust a door, connect a washing machine. The price list is per item, not per hour — furniture assembly 250 CZK, fitting a shelf or mirror 300 CZK, changing a bulb 150 CZK, fitting a socket 500 CZK, replacing a tap 400 CZK. So you know the price in advance and it does not depend on how long the work takes.

Plumbing

Fitting a washbasin 600 CZK, a toilet 600 CZK, a bidet 650 CZK, a urinal 550 CZK. Replacing the hoses to a bath or basin tap 350 CZK, removing a bidet, basin or WC 400 CZK, fitting a bathroom fan 600 CZK. In panel flats on Košutka and in Bolevec the pipework is usually behind an inspection hatch; if you do not have one, put it in the order so we arrive with the right tools.

Electrical work

If you do not know where the fault is, order electrical diagnostics at 1 000 CZK — the technician finds it and quotes the repair on the spot.

Furniture assembly 250 CZK, repairing beds and couches 400 CZK, repairing a sliding wardrobe including bonding the mirror 650 CZK, replacing fridge door hinges 450 CZK. For doors: fitting or replacing a handle 350 CZK, replacing a lock cylinder 350 CZK, repair and adjustment 650 CZK. In older tenements in the town centre and Jižní Předměstí the doors are often original and the dimensions non-standard — in that case send a photo in advance.

Materials

You can buy the materials yourself, or for 500 CZK we drive to the shop and buy them as agreed; their cost is then added against the receipt. For specific parts — a lock cylinder of a particular type, a tap of a certain make — it is quicker if you have them at home, because the choice in the shop is wider than any description over the phone.
